Sensemanufacture creates websites, photography and video for artists, creators, producers, hospitality projects and independent initiatives. Each service can stand on its own, or several can be developed together as one coherent project.

CMS

CMS = Content Management System / système de gestion de contenu.

A private administration area allowing the client to add, edit and organise their own works, publications, images and texts without editing website code.

CMS packages include training.

Languages & translation

Website packages include up to 2 language versions where specified.

If the client provides final source-language text, FR/EN translation of agreed standard website copy is included.

Literary, creative, critical, legal, specialist or other language-sensitive texts are not automatically translated. The client supplies an approved translation, or appropriate translation is quoted separately.

Extensive long-form/archive translation and additional languages are also quoted separately.

Basic maintenance

The included 3 months basic maintenance covers reasonable minor technical corrections and small content updates after launch.

It does not include:

substantial third-party changes

Larger requests are quoted separately.

Domain & hosting

Domain registration, web hosting and email hosting are third-party services, not services sold by Sensemanufacture.

Sensemanufacture:

helps compare appropriate options
helps choose a suitable provider
guides domain registration
helps configure hosting/server
deploys the website
helps configure the professional email where applicable

The client opens the account in their own name, accepts the third-party provider’s terms and pays the provider directly.

The domain and hosting remain under the client’s ownership and control.

Travel

No travel charge within a 30 km radius of Mellionnec.

Beyond 30 km, travel costs are specified and agreed in the quotation before the assignment.

Any necessary tolls, parking, ferry, transport or accommodation are also agreed beforehand.
