Apiculteur Bretagne — Demo Website for an Independent Beekeeper

This fictional demonstration project was developed as a reusable website concept for small-scale beekeepers and independent agricultural producers.

The aim was to create a simple and credible online presence that feels close to the reality of the work: the apiary, the landscape, the products and the person behind them. Rather than designing a generic commercial website, the structure gives space to the producer’s story, practical information, production methods and the atmosphere surrounding the activity.

The website was built around clear navigation, responsive layouts and bilingual content, with dedicated sections for the beekeeper, the apiary, the products, the approach to production and contact information.

The visual direction is restrained and image-led, allowing photographs of bees, hives, landscape and products to carry much of the identity of the site. The intention was to create something warm and approachable without losing clarity or making the presentation feel overly commercial.

The project was also conceived as a clean and adaptable Sensemanufacture template for agricultural and food-producing activities. Its structure can be adapted to other independent producers such as honey makers, cheese producers, market gardeners, vineyards or other small-scale local businesses.

The demo is intentionally technically simple: there is no CMS, user account system or unnecessary backend infrastructure. This keeps the website lightweight, easy to maintain and appropriate for a small producer who mainly needs a clear, attractive and reliable online presence.
